last week evan and i went blackberry and tomato pickin' with our neighbors anna and ella. what a refreshing time we had. it was so great to get out of the city and to wide open spaces and clear blue skies.
"here's a good one, evan."
"how 'bout this one, mom??"
evan had fun picking the tomatoes,
taking one bite
and then handing them off to me.
i, of course, finished them off
(don't tell the farmer!)
"hey ella, i picked these two all by myself. maybe when you're big like me you can pick tomatoes too!"
