st. louis botanical gardens...we've wanted to take advantage of the gardens all summer. it is free for st. louis residents on wed. and sat. morning. finally, last wednesday...the day before phillip started back up with classes, we made it! it will be fun to visit again in the fall.
the botanical gardens has an awesome children's garden. evan really enjoyed it this time! he loved to run around all the obstacles, go up and down all the stairs and slides and of course, play in the water. we looked around the gardens for about an hour (while evan was in his stroller) before entering the children's garden. when we finally let him out, we just let him go free and followed him around. evan just kept running away from us, laughing, i think he thought we were chasing him and wanted to put him back in the stroller. funny boy!
