just in case having family pictures, a family work day to clean up grandma and grandpa's farm, good food and fellowship, a bonfire, fireworks and a rain shower weren't enough....
after the short (but intense) rain we were blessed with an awesome rainbow!!!

(aunt diane is one of our faithful blog checkers. she lives in colorado with her family...she always makes the most of her visits to the farm. even as a kid i remember looking forward to her visits, especially at christmas time---riding the snowmobile, building snow forts, sledding at julia's, and of course, hot chocolate! thanks for the great memories diane!)
