yes, there are four combines in this picture. this is my dad's bean field south of our house. the guy my dad rents it to has four combines plus they had two tractors each with huge grain wagon and a semi hauling the beans. (that's a lot for all you non-farming folks) they finished this bean field in about fifteen minutes. it was the highlight of evan's day. no wonder the small farmer has a hard time making it these days.

Actually Missy, we wonder how the big farmers make it with all that machinery debt! But wouldn't it be nice to get a field done in 15 minutes...except then what would Gus do? He's not a coffee drinker, so no time for the CO-OP crowd.
