we can't believe you are three years old!
you are a blessing to us. we love your intensity. here are just some of the things you love at three years old: being chased by anyone, playing hide-n-seek, david and goliath, books, stories told by daddy, your sister (most of the time), giving hugs and kisses before bed, praying for your friends, peanut butter & honey sandwiches, pooh and elephant, your cousins, non-scary movies, playing outside, running fast, your grandparents, singing, telling us stories, hot dogs & "dip-dip" and cuddling after naps.
we love you so much! we love being your parents and watching you grow up.

"oh nice" (a casual response to something he likes)
"all done fussing" (a trained response to any time-out buzzer)
"she has pretty eyes" (commenting to a walmart cashier with LOTS of blue eye shadow)
"this is not mcdonalds" (looking around olive garden while we were eating)
"mommy got poop in there" (poking at my rear while i was wear tighter exercise pants. fyi, there wasn't...it was just my booty)
"dip-dip" (a.k.a. ketchup)
"i will fight you with the help of God!" (our little shepherd boy yelling at goliath)
"this is my family" (he really loves his family)

I can't believe he's three already! Those baby/1 year old/2 year old pics seem like they weren't that long ago. We've got to get up to Iowa for a visit soon.
