march 26th was our last post...it's been 2 1/2 weeks.
where have we been?
well...
we packed up our lovely country basement apartment,
moved everything to the garage to store it,
doctor's appointments, haircuts, dentists, playdates,
moved to ames for two weeks,
lived out of suitcases,
phillip started his new job as the associate pastor at the first congregational church in parkersburg, iowa,
phillip commuted 3 hours everyday,
attended a college reunion/baby shower in pella,
lost the camera charger and computer cord,
the kids and i got rear ended in the honda while in ames,
my poor honda accord was totaled out,
called insurance people, talked with insurance people, frustrated by insurance (especially when it's not your fault!)
went to the chiropractor for whiplash,
back to ida grove to load up our moving truck,
loaded moving truck in 1.5 hours (with a short break for a pop),
had a david and goliath birthday party for evan with 37 guests,
drove to parkersburg,
pulled up to our new home,
unloaded the truck in 1 hour (no break this time),
phillip turned 29,
had easter, looked for eggs, found eggs,
had a wonderful easter dinner.
unpacked LOTS of boxes,
started to organize and get our life in some sort of "order" (whatever that is!)
we are enjoying our house and more importantly, phillip is loving his job.
i have found the computer cord...so pictures will be coming soon!
there's just a little catching up to do!!!
i'm off to the basement to do some more unpacking!!!

thanks to our faithful blog checkers for not giving up on us!

i am impressed with your loading and unloading times. very spencer-like! but the thing that stood out the most from your post was that you had a "pop". only people from that part of the country say "pop". when i lived in wyoming that's what we called it. then when i moved to oklahoma everything was called "coke". not that you really care about any of that. but still, you stopped to have a pop. it makes me smile. i think i'll go have one now with some popcorn! anyway, can't wait to see pics of the new place. hope you guys are loving it!
