after this happened we were forced to look for a new car. it took a while to settle with the insurance company (for some reason they didn't want to give us very much for our '95 honda accord with 220,000 miles?!?!?!) well, with the $$ from the settlement and the $$ we had saved we could afford this...
it's a '99 ford windstar...here's the kicker--it has 45,000 miles on it!!! crazy, i know. we're pretty sure evelyn (the lady we bought it from)only drove it to bingo once a month. she lives in town and walks everywhere! we are very thankful for our new vehicle and it didn't take too long for us to swallow our pride and actually say, "we drive a minivan and like it!"
enough about cars (although i do find them interesting)...

i have absolutely no desire to pet this llama.
evan is getting more coordinated every day. it's fun to see him try new things at the playground!

Welcome to the world of Minivan owners! ;) We have always loved ours and have never been embarrassed to own one -- what other vehicle can you change in, sleep in, let a child get out and run around in when you're standing still in bad traffic, and have a nice backseat lounge-chair to nurse in?! I love being able to change a diaper in the backseat without standing out in the rain or using a public restroom.
ok....maybe i love ours a littl TOO much?!?! :)
Anyway, We've gotten many good years out of ours and look forward to many more! :)
