after returning home from our vacation in the boundary waters phillip had a longing to start purchasing gear so it would be more feasible to take group canoe trips. the tuesday after we got back, this trailer and canoes basically fell in our lap. we got an amazing deal on the get-up. it costs a lot to rent gear...so once we take two trips, it will pay for itself. (always a selling point for me!)
the trailer is really solid and has a ton of storage built in. we also have paddles, old school life jackets, cooking gear, and plenty of other camping gear! so, if you're in the mood to take an adventure---just give us a call!!!
the kids think it is a climbing apparatus. i only allow them to climb on it when phillip is outside with them. but you can see in this picture that the trailer can actually hold 8 canoes (two more can go on top).
i have to end with a cute picture. this weekend we got to spend a few hours with my friend megan and her family. this is her little boy, luke. he is adorable!!! it's always great to be with old friends. thanks for having us over megan and ryan!

crazy that you got all that stuff! you are hard core. looks like we have another excuse to come up and visit! and for schub to grow a "canoe beard."
you guys are so awesome. book us for a trip. shaun really wants a canoe or kayak. he would NEVER get to use it. we need to vacation at your place.
Forget vacation, we're moving in! Do you need a personal pastor (oh yeah you already have Phillip)? I can preach for food or even do weddings...how about preaching at weddings while on canoe trips???
