That's what I had to do when I decided to let Evan and Anabel decorate the fruit pizza by themselves!
I wanted to explain how to make a pattern and how NOT to push the fruit into the frosting...but I didn't!
Ready to eat their masterpiece (after a yummy spaghetti supper)...
As you might recall, I like making patterns and pretty designs on fruit pizzas (especially for Phillip's birthday)!

Great job on the fruit pizza, kids! And great job on letting them do it on their own, Missy. I'm not a big one for licked fingers and such, so I admire you! I think Evan looks like Andrew in the spaghetti face photo, which makes me think what if there ends up being three little boys who look like Andrew one day??? Not a bad thing at all, just had to chuckle. Maybe it's the expression, typcial Andrew when he was little.

And who says there wasn't a pattern to that pizza? One got a little fixated on the pineapple and bananas...the other liked strawberries and shoving those tiny little blueberries into the cream cheese frosting. Looked like a cresent moon pattern to me!
Bet they were so proud of themselves. Again, way to go Mom.
