Wow! They look more alike in black and white and with a hat on. Still Brooks has those lips to give him away (Baby 1). Those are a couple of cute boys!!!
Baby #1 is Brooks...#2 is Evan. They do look a lot alike. But Brooks has a rounder face, wider set eyes, and less "jowls" in the photo than Evan. Amazing though, that God uses genetics to create people who resemble each other so much. And then again, he sometimes uses adoption, as I had to go back and label Alisa's baby photos when Marcie came, they resembled each other so much at that stage. SIt's still funny to have people tell us or Marcie how much she looks like her sisters. Oh, really?
We were talking about such things at the table many years ago. Mitch must have been about 5yrs. He was maybe feeling left out of the conversation, so he pipes up, "I look a lot like Marcie." We all pause to listen to his reasoning. "We both have glasses!" Yes, however your skin tones are on the opposite ends of the spectrum, Son. And your black/brown eyes contrast sharply with her blue ones. But we all just chuckled and let him feel the connection.
Enjoy your look-alikes. I think Evan looked a lot more like Phillip when he was little, still does. It will be fun to see if Brooks does too, or if he veers off into his own special look. And then there's your Anabel, who is quite the character,in heels no less, from what I see and read here!
