9 months.
All 3 of our kids have had this fun "tuft" of hair on their head at this age.

Dear Brooks,
Thank you for being a great baby. You bring many smiles into our lives. In the morning you talk and talk until I come and get you. Many times Evan will "wake" you up after he hears you talking. You two love to play in your crib! I'm not sure it is safe with Super Man and Super Baby doing lots of stunts (i.e. Evan jumping from your crib to the guest bed)...but you are both always having fun!
I told myself I was not going to worry when you weren't crawling early. And I didn't. I just enjoyed every minute of you sitting and playing happily. But now at 9 months you have decided you want to move. You started off by doing a hilarious "swim crawl"...rolling on one side, reaching forward and then swimming to the other side and reaching the other arm forward. It was quite the process to get anywhere! Your "swim crawl" only lasted a week or so. Now you have fully moved into an army crawl, which is much more efficient! I know it will only be days before you are up on your knees. I want to be sad when I see my little boy growing up and moving around...but you are so happy that it makes me happy!!
You are loving feeding yourself small bites of food. You only have two bottom teeth but you are great at chewing up little pieces! I think I see your four top teeth getting ready to break through. I hope they come as easy as the first two!
Your brother and sister love you so. Anabel kisses you so hard she leaves a mark on your head. I really try to stay on top of her!! They are so excited you are crawling! It is like they have been waiting for it their whole lives!!!
Thanks for blessing us little boy. We love you!
