LET'S GO FLY A KITE!
The kids got kites from Grandma Laurie for Easter.
We got them out on Sunday. It was a beautiful day for flying!
The girls got their kite up right away!

The boys struggled getting their kite up!
(After letting them work and work and work...I took a closer look and saw they did not let the tail of the kite out!  What a difference a little tail makes!)

The boys were still struggling at this point.  As you can tell, Anabel was flying without a care in the world!

                          
Brooks wanted in on the action.  He kept his feet on the ground though.

Phillip gave up on the kite flying and tilled the garden beds.  Grandpa broke out Uncle Luke's big airplane kite for Evan.  Boy, did they have fun!

The airplane kite is a little trickier to hold on to!  

I would say it was a successful kite flying day!
