she received her Juris Doctorate from the University of Kansas Law School on May 22!

I know Karen was very happy to finish her law degree...but this little guy was pretty happy to finish his first year of preschool!
On Evan's last day of school, I decided to have him write his name, numbers and letters...as many as he could without any help. This is just for memory's sake. This was the first time I had asked him to do this. We did not practice it. I know he could have done more if he was prompted...but I wanted to get a true feel for where he ended his year.
He also read these words, cut, glued and matched them correctly.
I loved being Evan's teacher for preschool!!! It was a blessing to watch him learn this year. Evan, you are an amazing little boy. We love you so much!
