Minneapolis Trip.
July 22-24, 2011
Reasons why we went to MN:
- Twins game on Friday night (Evan, Phillip & Stefan)
- Lego Store @ Mall of America (Evan)
- Visit Megan T. & family (Missy & kids)
- U2 Concert on Saturday night (Phillip & Stefan)
- Beach (Missy, Megan & kids)
Evan LOVED the Lego store. He could have been there for hours.
He built 3 Lego guys. It was totally worth it!

Pleasant surprises that came up while in MN:
- Bike ride Saturday AM while Ryan stayed with the sleeping kids (MJ & MT)
- My kids did not want to ride rides @ Mall of America...they wanted to ride the escalator
- Lunch at a rooftop restaurant downtown Saturday noon (PJ & SJ)
- ANOTHER Twins game Saturday afternoon (PJ & SJ)
- Warm rain during the U2 concert (PJ & SJ--I'm told it made it even more amazing!)
- Ryan went to the U2 concert w/ some friends
- Real conversation with a real friend Saturday night (MJ & MT)
- A great walk with Uncle Stefan on Sunday to the river (Jensen family)

- To build sandcastles in the sand, get bit by some bug & break out in bites/hives all over (Evan)
- Miss the pizza delivery guy (MJ & MT)
- Fall down a very steep flight of stairs, head over heals & land on cement (Brooks)
Memories were made. Thankfully, everyone is okay. Thanks to Phillip for letting our family crash your (belated) 30th birthday weekend. Sounds to me like you had a well deserved weekend!!! We love you!
We were so thankful to get Sunday morning with Uncle Stefan.
