My grandma turned 83 September 21st.
My grandma & grandpa have been married 63 years on September 25th.
My grandpa turned 85 on September 28th.
That calls for a few pies to celebrate.
Grandma with her lemon meringue pie.
Grandpa's cherry pie.
(I loved using the stars for the top crust. The kids helped cut them out and put them on! The hearts and numbers have cinnamon sugar on them. Yum!)
My grandpa loved his pie. He loves my kids. He loves my husband and me.
He just doesn't love smiling for pictures. : )
I don't know why they chose lemon and cherry pies...I think they are both peaches!
