The last few years we have had "Sweet Corn Eating Contests." (I think it was originally my sister's idea) It is a difficult contest to judge. There are so many factors: speed, how clean the cob is, and how much corn has fallen onto the plate. Next year we are going to need a rubric.
These boys love eating the sweet corn they planted!!

I would purchase a scale and weigh the corn before and after.
