Evan turns 8!

Evan loves Magic Tree House books.  He has been dreaming up his Magic Tree House party for a while.  Jack & Annie go on exciting adventures.  Our life is an adventure with this sweet boy!  

The "tree house" is a 3 layered cake with lots of thick frosting!  The trunk is a vase covered with coco crispies.  Oh the things a mother does for her child!  

Evan had 4 friends out:  Rosco, Livi, Jackson & Ryler.  

 Anabel & I set up different "missions" for the kids.  The last "mission" lead to a box filled with Magic Tree House books--each friend got to choose one!

It shouldn't surprise me that the kids ended up in the creek.  Thankfully they were all wearing rubber boots & I put on the invitation to "wear clothes you don't mind getting dirty!"  

It took a little work to get everyone cleaned up.  I wouldn't have it any other way.
