Skating Birthday Parties!
Our family was invited to Jacob's 9th birthday party at the skate palace in Ida Grove. Phillip was out of town so just the kids and I went. Evan was game for going even though he couldn't skate. Jacob is one of his best buds. He had fun timing the skaters around the rink.
Anabel was also invited to Devin's (a classmate's) birthday party on the same day, same place! It was fun to hit two parties at once. Anabel and I are very proud of our fire making skills. We had to take a picture to send to daddy.
"We didn't start the fire...it was always burning, since the world's been turning..."
We also completed a sewing project. We made sleeping bags to give as gifts to Anabel's friends (at her birthday party). We had fun picking out coordinating fabric at our local thrift store. I hope the girls like them!

Anabel & I went to watch Becky's niece play basketball in Mapleton. Addison is an outstanding freshman and SO fun to watch! I hope we can watch her more in the future!!!
I am thankful for my healthy children. I am thankful for the way they play together. I could do without the arguing...but it's times like these that you forget all about the arguing!! Reading buddies:
Cute kid in a hat. Cute dad in glasses.
Cute kid in his new shirt.
Sky blue pink. I am thankful for beautiful sunrises on our drive to school in the morning. I love that the kids appreciate them (thanks to Grandma Johnson).
