Johnson Cousin time
We are so lucky to live close to Grandma and Grandpa Johnson so when the cousins come to visit--everyone gets to join in on the fun!! I went to Storm Lake one day with mom & the kids. We stopped and swam at Lake View on they way home.
I also was fortunate enough to take Haley and Anabel on a spur of the moment Glow Run 5K in Cherokee. It was a blessing to spend time with the girls and be a part of Anabel's first 5K. She was a trooper!
At first, Anabel was pumped and super chatty. Then it turned to confusion about how far we were running and why we were running that far. After almost two miles, we let Mandy and Haley run ahead of us. That was all it took, from then on Anabel had her mind set to not walk any more and to try to catch them! (I'm not sure who's daughter she is) She did an amazing job. She ran her little heart out. We spent the night at Mandy's and the next day the four of us went thrift shopping in Storm Lake. What a special memory.
