Adventureland with Elise & Ben
Phillip volunteered us to take the Bible Instruction graduates to Adventureland for their reward for finishing the class. [
Sidenote: Phillip and I have NEVER been to an amusement park together. He does not like them. He does not like anything that spins.] As you can imagine, I was very shocked he volunteered us. We decided to make the most of the day.
I told Ben and Elise I would go on any ride they wanted to go on. That might have been a mistake, but I was convinced it was mind over matter. We did every roller coaster (some multiple times), water rides, spinning rides, water park,
ferris wheel, bumper cars
...you name it, we did it. It only took one trip to the chiropractor after we returned home to get my neck straightened out! We ended the day at Pizza Ranch. It was great to get to know Ben & Elise better. (
