Last Days in MN

We stopped at another beach on our way back from Devil's Kettle.  Evan said he was bored.  We said that was not acceptable.  He put his creativity to work and build this imposter of himself (I think he called it his decoy).  I was snoozing and when I woke up I looked over and had to take a second glance!  Funny kid.
Kids playing cards on the deck of the cabin.
I'm starting to pick up (don't mind the piles)...but I wanted to take pictures of the cabin before I forgot!

New Tradition:  To get to the cabin there is a HUGE hill to climb.  Every hike back to the cabin ends with this very steep hill.   Phillip encouraged the kids to run the last part of the hike (up the steep hill).  If they ran it and beat us, they would earn ice cream.  We got smart and started buying a container of ice cream to enjoy together on Artist Pointe.  (Much cheaper than going out!)  And this is how Ice Cream Hill came to be.

I tried to record all we did in the Cabin Memories book.  It was harder than I expected!  What a great vacation.
