Anabel is 9

On February 3rd we left school a little early and headed to Ames.  Anabel had a choice between have a friend birthday party and inviting 1 friend to attend and ISU gymnastics meet.  She chose Sophi and the ISU gymnastics meet.

We were all excited about her choice.  It was a special family (+Sophi +Gma Johnson) memory.

We started the night be eating at Chick Fil A...

These two were in awe.

The gymnastics meet did not have a high attendance.  The girls were able to enjoy themselves beyond belief.  They loved roaming the halls of Hilton without too much concern of getting lost!

This picture cracks me up.  Just two guys acting silly.  What you don't know is in the moments following, the very cheap and unreliable styrofoam bowl became an issue.  The boys were concerned.  Thankfully, Phillip ran back to get two more bowls so we could split the ice cream.  Phillip to the rescue!

Haylee Young is an impressive gymnast.

The girls loved every minute (& so did we!).

To end the night, the girls waited in line to get autographs from the gymnasts.
It was perfect.

Happy Birthday 9th Anabel.  We are so thankful for the joy you bring into our lives.  You are a great friend and an awesome sister & daughter.  You are considerate of others.  You care about what others think.  You put all of your effort into everything you do.  You are funny.  You are so creative.  We pray you will use your gifts to glorify God.
