Dad's Retirement Party

 Dad invited his co-workers and family over for his retirement party.  Mom and dad put on an incredible meal for their guest.

Matt and Luke were not planning to attend, but the day before they decided to make the trip and surprise dad and mom!  We pulled it off.  

 

It was wonderful to have all four kids there.  Dad was surprised and happy.  I knew dad would think about the amount of food first--he always wants to make sure there is more than enough.  I was right...just seconds after the boys surprised him, he said, "We're not going to have enough food!"  

There was plenty of amazing food.  

We pulled off one of the greatest gifts for dad.  The quotes were from him to us and we were giving them right back to him.  Lots of truth & lots of laughs. 

He read every.single.one.  And had a story for every.single.one. 

It was perfect.  

Kane lost a tooth!  

Rose is such a sweetie.  

Uncle Luke is boring.  ; )
