Friday, August 3rd
Everyone was up bright and early on our first morning. Phillip & Evan walked to the German Bakery and bought pastries for breakfast.
Our teammate Josie met us at the guest house. She walked us to Jawalakhel (pictured below) to exchange money and buy new SIM cards for our phones. We met Paul & Leah back at the guest house and went to their house for a Nepali lunch with their four kids.
The "guest house" was our home for 13 days--from Thursday, August 2nd to Tuesday, August 14th.

Paul decided we should also experience a "micro" ride. It was a little too soon for all of us, especially the kids.
We got out of the micro as soon as we sensed the kids' anxiety level rising. A walk was welcomed!
