Kids' lunch menu for the week--
Tina invited me to play futsal with some other moms from KISC in Thecho at the KISC futsal court. Futsal is basically indoor soccer and you can play off the walls. It was a blast! I love running and playing competitively. Some of the moms were really good! During the last play, I was going for the ball near the wall and I caught Michelle's elbow (pictured below) in my eye. It must have hit a vein because it swelled up immediately.
It has not been fun to walk around with a black eye...but I guess it could be worse. It has lasted over two weeks!!
Saturday, August 11th
Church at Crossway with Rose & Christine, lunch at their house afterwards
On our walk back to the guest house...
Playing Risk with friends back home is good.
It's hard to beat having dad read Bible stories to you. It's also very hard to stay awake after a long week in a new country!
