Grand Marais,  MN ~ Worth the drive, everytime

Evan's first time on the ski slopes, Lutsen Mountain.
I loved being Evan's ski instructor.  We took the first run to cover the basics of skiing.  It took over an hour to ski down.  The next run down took half the time!
Due to COVID, there were not any restaurants open so we packed all of our snacks and lunches and ate in the vehicles.
This was a dream!  Skiing with my family.  💜
I loved all the different kinds of weather we skied in.
Back at the Cascade Lodge Creek Chalet each night
Brothers on the ski lift
Future sister-in-laws!  Carrie was so patient and understanding as our kids had ups and downs on the slopes.  She was game for anything!
It was snowing like crazy ~ we could hardly see in front of us.
And then blue skies and Lake Superior!

Celebrating Alan's birthday
Our little snowboarders...we are so impressed with their determination and skills!
Grandma Laurie and Grandpa Alan would meet us at Lutsen for lunch or snacks.  It was always fun to have them join us.
Loving every minute on the slopes.  What a blessing!
