Happy Birthday Anabel!

Anabel's birthday breakfast...OATMEAL!!!
Every morning she requests to have oatmeal.
Her birthday was no exception!


Very delicately opening presents.
She has a hard time getting them started...
but after only a little peak she can identify the present, "jammies" or "glasses!"

Anabel's party is on Saturday but we celebrated with a few friends today.
Here's her last minute flower cake. Evan and Anabel loved helping mix, bake and frost it!
(I don't always love the mess we make!)

Two years ago....



One year ago...


Our TWO year old!!! (Thanks for the picture Evan!)


Anabel, We can't imagine these last two years without you. You are our sweet girl. We are so thankful you are healthy. Two years ago you were breach and delivered by c-section. Last year you had just gotten out of the hospital for dehydration.
This year you are running and jumping and talking up a storm. You love to say "Hey mommy, guess what?" and "Why mommy?" When I tell you that you are my sweetheart, you answer with a twinkle in your eyes, "No, I'm Anabel."
When asked a simple question most of the time your first response is a quick shrug of the shoulders. It makes your dad and I laugh every time. You are becoming more of a snuggler--when we sing to you before bed, after naps and when you wake up in the morning. We are soaking up every minute.
