Our 7th Wedding Anniversary.  

I feel like 7 is a big deal.  We don't always make a big deal over our anniversary but this year felt really special to me.  I love being married to Phillip.  I love where we are in life.  Life is not always easy....but when we are together, I know God is in control and will see us through.  

Phillip had a week of vacation (June 27-July1).  It was perfect timing.  Phillip's mom came to our house and stayed with the kids for TWO DAYS!  We were planning on getting away at the North40 campground....but a week before one of my friends offered their family cabin in Storm Lake.  It was too perfect to turn down!!!  

We had a relaxing little get-away.  The cabin was amazing.  It had a great deck and dock on the lake.  It had all of the cooking utensils we needed.  When Phillip and I get away, we love to read, relax, cook and work out!!!  I'm not sure how the cooking and working out balance each other...but we do love them both!!!  We cooked our own meals and biked and ran!  It was wonderful.  

My meal:  Mushroom and swiss burger with homemade fries and smoothies.  Yum.
