Homeschooling...
We haven't even touched on spelling yet...
"Evan is doing school."
"Anabel is playing!"
Is someone a little jealous?!?

Pattern time...
A bat craft to finish off our unit study on BATS!
Evan isn't huge into coloring, so we LOVE his Gruffalo creation!
I guess this is our bulletin board!  : )
I really like our math program, Math U See.  Evan can build, write and say any number up to 999.  I feel it is so important for him to understand place value.
I commend those home schoolers who blog their everyday activities...but I am not one of those.  If I took pictures and wrote about everything, I wouldn't get anything else done!  So look forward to little glimpses, now and then!

Funny story:  One day I was at the high school talking to a teacher and the kids were with me.  Evan politely asked the teacher if he could write on her dry erase board.  He wrote his first and last name.  The teacher told him how nicely he wrote his name and Evan replied, "I'm homeschooled."  I've never heard him say that before.  It caught me off guard, made me smile and appreciate the opportunity to teach Evan Kindergarten at home.  (I just hope the public school teacher doesn't have anything against home schooling!  Oh well!!)
