Friday, February 17th.
I really don't know what everyone did this morning. My body shut down and made me rest/recover. I know that Matt and Becky made lunch for everyone. The kids went to the beach and then to the pool. I think after naps I ventured down to the beach for the first time. It was so refreshing!!! Friday night my parents held the "un-rehearsal" supper. It was an "un-rehearsal" because they did not actually have a wedding rehearsal, just a talk through. My parents served wings, sandwiches, fruit and veggies (prepared by my mom's sisters). We played a fun BINGO ice breaker, watched a video of Luke and Karen that my mom put together and had fun toasting and celebrating Luke & Karen!
In case you didn't know, Phillip officiated the wedding. He signed all the legal papers Friday night. Not sure how many officiates sign the marriage license with a 22 month old on their lap!!
