CSA
Prairie Whole Farm CSA
Description
"CSA" means Community Supported Agriculture. CSA allows you, the consumer, to purchase food directly from the farm on which it was grown. In a CSA, interested customers purchase a share (aka a "membership" or a "subscription") and in return receive a box (bag or basket) of seasonal produce each week throughout the farming season.
The bottom line is that people make commitments to farms, and in return farmers make commitments to produce for their members the freshest, most flavorful, highest quality food possible.
